For Christmas, Eri got me this Contax T2. It's basically a point-and-shoot camera, but with an excellent Carl Zeiss Sonnar F2.8 lens which means it can take quite nice pictures. I still haven't quite worked out how to use it properly - the display through the viewfinder still confuses me a little, as does the exposure compensation, but on the whole, I was pretty happy with the few roll I got back. These are not cross-processed either, or touched in Photoshop. Pretty interesting colours and definition. I'm looking forward to shooting more with it, especially if not cross-processing means that the films can be developed in 30 minutes. I forgot how nice it is to be able to do that! As usual, click to see the other photos.

Is that on some sort of potrait setting? I like what has happened with the background.
I've had my Nokia N95 phone for quite some time but not really played with the camera until recently.
That has a 5Mp Carl Zeiss lens on it. It claims to have an Auto Setting which can tell what type of photo you wish to take. But I've recently found that taking the time to change the setting manually to Close up/Landscape/Moving makes the picutres look much better then Auto.
I still need to play about and test it more too.
No, it has the aperture full open, so the background is blurred. There are settings as such. but you can change the aperture or have it on auto. Pretty cool.
I only found out that my phone had (really excellent) picture settings about a month before the camera broke!
I hope my phone doesnt follow suit and break in the next few weeks.
Don't the Japanese camera phones have like 18 Billion Megapixels lenses on them?
They probably do now. I havent bought a new phone in about 4 years. The one I have has a nifty thing where you can photograph a word in Japanese and it will tell you the meaning in English...which of course is also broken now that the camera has died!
