Haha, one of my kids came up to me and said, "Olly, please wear my headband when you running" and then handed me this sweaty rag, so I kind of had to...but you're right, it certainly took attention away from my intense speed.

But yeah, the kids allllll wear the headbands at sports day. They love it...and Battle Royale is nothing but my daily fantasy. I would have happily, happily sent my last school's kids off to Battle Royale. With. Pleasure.

Maybe it was the hairband that was making it look like, to others, that you are running slowly.
The hairband I think is taking away notice of your speed.

Nice hairband

Also it looks like all the male students are just about to get ready for Battle Royale.
Here's me thinking that movie was fictional too.

If you can go down to f.2, I would say there would be very, very little point paying to go lower...I mean, the difference between f.1.8 and f.2 is relatively minimal - you need a pretty good lens to make it worth while...my lens is the cheapest prime Canon make - it was only about 10,000円!

Goes down to f2. Am wondering about getting a conversion. Thing is though, any kind of accessory tends to cost big money for what it is...

It's a f1.8 (I think) 50mm prime, which would account for the narrow focus. What does your compact go down to? Most have like f2 or f3 or something, which would help with focus like this...then there's always Photoshop!

Yeah, the areas of focus are interesting. I would love to see the pre-adjustment images. What size lens are you using? Am thoroughly enjoying my little compact camera but am starting to find the lens a little limiting at times. That said though, am starting to get used to it.

Thanks, yeah there was a little levels adjustments and a little sharpening, but that was about it. But the rest of the 400-odd pictures I took were a little lame!
