think the streaks might actually be from straining the film somehow..
maybe it felt a bit tight when winding back at some stage?
OM’s are hot little cameras though.

The problem for me with it is that I don’t really wanna get it teefed by some yout. Well, that and when it’s in the bag with three lenses, it starts getting a little bit big…no real problems with it technically though – the lenses are a little lame, and it’s got a few issues with quality, but the technical problems are nothing compared to my own technical problems!

What has happened to the Canon digital SLR? Have you found it too restrictive or not up to scratch? I notice all of your recent photos have been taken with anything but that camera?

Am about to head out for some New Year’s Eve fesitivities so again, happy new year G!

I would definitely recommend getting your paws on an SLR, the OM-1 is a good candidate, although a digital SLR would keep it nice and convenient and the new year sales would be a good time for that I guess. But it’s only about 1000円 for developing a film if you only get a CD done, so not too ridiculously expensive. The benefits outweigh the disadvantages in my opinion – you really need an SLR to learn properly – something I hope to be able to do next year!

Nice present indeed! Am still umming and aahing as to whether to pull the trigger and get an slr. This was one potential candidate. I like the idea of getting an older film camera but am afraid I find the digital realm a little too convenient…
